Three Year Professional Development VSI Tier 1 Program Leading to a MA in Science Education.

A fourth cohort of teachers began study in the summer of 2009. The next content course is Geology/Inorganic Chemistry and will take place May 21/22, July 12-16 and 19-23, and one Fall 2010 weekend (6 credits). For further information, please contact Project Directors.

Leadership Academy

For K-8 teachers of science in Vermont a 13-15 credit program focusing in science pedagogy, science content, and leadership skills resulting in a science teacher leader certificate. Applications accepted on an on-going basis. Course series begins again December 2010 with Issues in Science Education.
