VSI has two new exciting programs:
- VSI Science and Engineering Academy: For teachers in grades 1-6, will focus on best practices, science content, and design engineering. Teachers will be provided with a stipend, training, and materials for an Engineering is Elemenary (EiE) unit.
- VSI Science Academy*: For teachers in K-8. Engage in science content and best practices through a summer institute, school year follow up, and online science content through NSTA. Stipend provided.
Current VSI Programs that will end June 2012:
- VSI Tier I: For K-8 teachers, a well-established three-year curriculum leading to a Master of Arts in Science Education PROGRAM ENDS JUNE 2012
- VSI Leadership Academy: For K-8 teachers of science in Vermont a 13-15 credit program focusing in science pedagogy, science content, and leadership skills.
